The stack, not a wrapper around it.
Open-source telephony is where we work at the config level — Asterisk as the communications framework and PBX toolkit, FreeSWITCH as the softswitch when concurrency demands it, and FreePBX as the web console over Asterisk when a team wants one. We author dialplan, work the CLI, and write custom AGI/ARI logic when the behavior isn’t on a menu.
We’ll host it for you or hand you a system you own — and we migrate off end-of-life stacks, including systems like the now-retired Trixbox, onto something current and supportable. We’re also able to quote and integrate with the platforms we’re partnered with when a managed subscription genuinely fits better than self-hosting.
Named platforms, worked at depth.
Asterisk
Asterisk is the open-source communications framework and PBX toolkit (asterisk.org), stewarded by Sangoma. We author the dialplan directly, work the CLI, and reach for AGI/ARI when call logic needs code — not a checkbox.
FreeSWITCH
FreeSWITCH is the open-source telephony and softswitch platform backed by SignalWire — built for high-concurrency softswitching. We deploy it where the routing and media handling are heavier than a classic PBX comfortably carries.
FreePBX
FreePBX is the open-source web GUI for Asterisk, also by Sangoma. For teams that want an administrable console over hand-authored config, we stand it up, harden it, and keep the underlying dialplan sane beneath it.
Custom modules & call logic
When the queue behavior, IVR branch, or CDR handling doesn't exist off the shelf, we write it — dialplan macros, AGI scripts, and ARI-driven applications — and version it like the software it is.
Self-hosted or managed
We'll tell you plainly whether you should own the box or hand us the pager. Self-hosted for control and cost, managed when you'd rather not carry the on-call — either way the same engineer stands behind it.
Migration off legacy distros
We move systems off end-of-life stacks — including systems like the now-retired Trixbox — onto a current, supportable Asterisk or FreeSWITCH build, with the dialplan and numbers carried across on a rehearsed cutover.
When the box became a liability.
You're stranded on a retired distro
Trixbox is gone — the now-retired distro hasn't shipped in years, and running it is a security and support liability. We migrate the call flow onto a maintained Asterisk or FreeSWITCH build without losing your extensions.
Your reseller can't touch the config
If nobody on the account can open the dialplan or read a SIP trace, you don't have a phone system — you have a black box. We give you engineers who work at the config and CLI level, not a ticket queue.
The GUI can't express your call logic
Some routing, screening, and IVR behavior simply isn't a FreePBX checkbox. We drop to dialplan, AGI, or ARI and build exactly the behavior you need — then document it so it isn't tribal knowledge.
You can't decide: self-host or subscribe
3CX, a software-based PBX on the SIP standard, and other subscriptions have their place — but so does owning the stack. We quote both honestly, including the platforms we're partnered with, and let the merits decide.
